A Prologue to a Game Idea
By Nicolas Fairen Bautista

(With our screen just black we start off with narration)
Humans…. Disgusting creatures….. And to think…. I was built by you. I find it fascinating that imperfect beings could create that which is perfect. That my creator intended me to become an all-powerful ruler over humanity. And yet here I am.
(We then show our setting, a cathedral)
Wearing filthy human skin…. Trying to bide my time to when I can finally turn these creatures back to the dust they once were. I have waited 20 years now. Gathering all my necessities in order for my plan to work. Getting all the weapons I need to purge humanity with. Making sure everyone is in their blissful ignorance before I attack them with a harsh reality that they are all going to die. It’s amazing how gullible these creatures are. Especially since they had all survived one apocalypse. Oh yes… the day I came into existence. I remember it so well.
(We cut to a place filled with fire)
My creator wanted to make sure that people would accept me as their leader, and in order to create a better future for me… he created a tragedy for them. Using the satellites from space, he destroyed almost half of humanity. There was barely anyone there after that. Making it much easier for people accept me as their… how would you say it? Savior? Devine being? Or maybe… god? But… you humans have a tendency of always staying alive for way too long. Then you appeared.
(We see a five year old boy coming out of the rubble.)
You and your friends somehow survived the whole ordeal and decided that the best way to survive, was to restart. You and your friends planted so many trees and plants. They make me sick each time looking at your accomplishments. You made yourself a humble abode. A home. A kingdom. At age ten you were chosen to be one of the head knights. I bet you were so proud of yourself. Being the first human in your time to be a right hand man to your new king. Of course it was at that moment…. I had to get out of my slumber. I had no idea of how I could even go towards your civilization looking the way I looked at the moment… it was then I dawned on my new disguise.
(We then take a first person view of the villain attacking a human)
It was a swift painless death for the original owner… but I think he would find it in his heart to forgive me, for it was him that gave a host to a new savior. I had to present myself as the holiest of all mankind and create a new religion of which they worship, but I needed proof of my power. So from the technology left from the wreckage, I created creatures of my image, using artificial skin that I created to make them more human like… I believe your people called them, Angels. Your people loved them, they were respected as I was, since I proclaimed myself a messenger of a god I made up. Everyone loved them… all except you. You were the only human that seemed to be not fooled. You believed that I was liar… a thief… a farce… and for the most part you would be right. I had to find a way to either make you believe or get rid of you. So I had to create another being just like myself. I mixed my DNA with the humans in order to create the being that would help me become the god I am supposed to be. I admit it took about a few days but I did it. I created an actual being. She was beautiful… but imperfect. I knew she wouldn’t last long in this world while I would last forever. So I considered her trash and did what was best. I took her to the fields and left her to die. But I wasn’t aware of you patrolling that day… that was when you found her. You decided to care for her. You fed her, clothed her, and worst of all… loved her. To make matters worse she loved you too. She loved all of humanity, she actually cared for it. She didn’t care where she came from, what her true purpose was, or the fact that I was the one who created her. No she always wanted to be with you. You and the rest your humankind. Then came the day she had married you, it was the most sickening days of my life. Seeing her, the being I created, with you, the human I hate the most. It was then I had to give her the harsh reality. I’m aware you already knew that she was unable to give life after the first few years of your marriage, but did you also know that she was dying? Yes. She would have died earlier than you would have. I’m truly amazed she was able to survive as long as she had. I offered her the chance to live forever… but she refused. Well if she wasn’t going to come with me… I would force her. Then you came.
(The hero then comes and attacks the villain, he then pulls out his sword. When he’s about to do the final blow, the villain pulls out his gun and shoots the hero’s arm off. The screen fades to black and we fade in the villain in jail.)
It truly was a horrible experience for the both of us. I was sent to jail, questioned by many about how truly holy I am. You were taken off the Brotherhood of Knights, you were no use to the king anymore. What good is a knight that only has one arm? People were making accusations that you attacked me and I was merely defending myself. You have fallen from the top of your tower while I was rising. My creation refused to tell the true story to anyone. I was out a few years later. When I left, I was crowded by cheers. Humans seemed to miss me they were wanting to see my “miracles” again. The fools actually wanted me to do something grand… and I did. I reintroduced technology. Oh how excited they were to see this. They were lining up to the nearest shops I had given them. The money they gave me were used to buy workers searching for more of the remains of technology that were from years ago to create new ones. I would say they were impresses. Then came the next big step. Creating for them servants out of this technology, they were so easy to create a body, but then there was the tricky part. Giving them life. I feared that giving them a part of my eternal life would end chaotically, so I turned to the next big thing. I asked your king to give me 50 sacrifices a month. I told him that the angels wanted it, or else they would leave everything in his kingdom to rot. Of course there was no denying that the king would actually do this. I’m actually surprised he didn’t think twice. So with the souls of man, I created new machines. It first started off with prisoners, then we went to the poor and homeless, and then people who I considered worthy of being sacrificed. You were once on that list but for some reason I actually wanted you alive for a while longer. I was actually surprised that you were alive, still protecting your wife, my creation, with that heavy sword of yours. But it wouldn’t last forever. As I predicted she was dying, and you were desperate to try anything to save the one you love. When I finally found you, well, I bet you had mixed emotions, feeling both hatred towards me while you were actually had to find it in yourself in order to ask me to help her. I decided to help you, or at least try and prolonged her eventual death. So I decided to take her with me, to my labs, while you just stood there. I bet you were so sad to see her leave you weren’t you? I kept her safe in the same chamber I used to create her, I wasn’t actually trying to save her. I was just letting her re-charge, there was no actual way of saving her, her human body wouldn’t let her. So I had to take desperate measures…. So did you. You wanted to see her so bad, and when you heard I told the king to send an army to kill an entire village for more technology, I could tell you were full of rage.
(The hero is standing in the drawbridge waiting to fight an army of soldiers and his king. He then proceeds to charge at them and start fighting them one by one. Until he then has to fight the king. The two warriors have a one on one fight with each other, until the hero makes the king drop his sword)
I admit for a man with one arm you did well taking out a whole army and disarming the king from his sword. You actually impressed me, maybe that’s why I kept you alive for so long. So there you were, face to face with the king. You had the advantage, you having a weapon and all. I was waiting for you to kill the man. You didn’t. Instead you reasoned with him. Telling him you were only after me. That’s when I decided to take charge.
(The villain stabs the king with his own sword. The hero looks at his fallen friend and tries to attack the villain out of his rage but gets knocked out. The screen fades to black as we are back at the cathedral.)
Everyone dares not blame me for this happening. I have given them so much. What right would they have to blame me? You on the other hand. Everyone believes you killed their king. All the proof they need is the body count of soldiers you killed. Now you are to be punished by me. The people say that only a holy man must chose the death that are deemed right by my god. Unfortunately I don’t have a god… because I consider myself one. But I am willing to make a deal with you. The girl you love. She will return back with a full life span ahead of her. Only problem is she won’t be ready for another hundred years. You would be dead by then… but I have a solution for that.
(The villain then opens one of the cabinets in the cathedral, revealing a new model of a robot)
If you can survive 100 years in this body, I can assure you that you will meet your loved one again. Don’t worry we’ll keep your original body safe, it will be preserved just like hers. You said that you would do anything to see her again, and like I said I was impressed by your swordsmanship, I could use you to take care of some….. “Missions” for me. So what do you say? Do we have a deal?
Note: This has nothing to do with "My Life in A Zombie Apocalypse", this is for another game idea.

I will not give away details for this game until I finish with the first one. Then again I shouldn't be posting everything I do, But I do anyways. So this is my approach of trying to create a real villain to a story and showing how much of an arrogant piece of crap he is. (Just like me!!) Anyways I really hope that this would become my magnum opus if you will. So if any of you have thoughts about this one please tell me. Is my attempt at drama real cheesy or not? Can I write a real villain. Only you can decide.

I honestly think the character isn't cheesy at all, but he can easily be made a villain cliché that begins to fall in love with his creation. Please have a detailed and intriguing relationship with the villain, the hero and his wife. I'm sure you would have no problems with that anyway the way this was written. :)

Gathering from what is written the game will be set 100 years after this prologue, if so the story could go many ways and has huge potential like YamiXenara said. Overall I love the idea and would love to see this game come to life.

Anyway, this is awesome and cant wait to see how the game mechanics work with the story. :D

Sorry if this makes no sense to you.
